All The Worlds A stage .

I`m going to attempt to put down all the Gigs I`ve been to
And with hopefully an antidote, a ticket and with some a photo !
So get ready to be amazed , bored or even a " You paid to watch them ?!" moments
And I`m eager for some questions and banter

The first one .
In the 70`s their was probably the best Music program known to man
The Old Grey Whistle Test
They would give you bands that were up and coming and touring the U.K.
One such band was a Canadian Rock trio called Rush and they showed a clip
Now when your 15 and have a likin for Guitars and Drums this was a mindblowin
Two of the members had Twin necks and the drummer had two Bass Drums
So for me and Drum lovin school mate who also saw the show all next day could`nt stop talking about the band so at weekend went went to Manchester and bought tickets
Two weeks after my 16th Birthday I went to my first Gig

Rush ,Manchester Apollo Fri. 24th Feb . 1978 .
What I remember was how loud it was and how it blew me away and the encore for some reason was Cinderella Man
Getting the Bus back home was full of lads with long hair , denim and I all I could think about was

This is ace.
If you are adding your gigs go to the add a gig button at the top of the page and it will let you create the event and add info and ticket stubs, video etc, the when someone else who has been to the same event as you tries to create it they will get a message this event already exists and they can add themselves to it building up a crowd who were there.

I think I shall use this thread as a Inventory of my Gigs
With the help of Google I can get the dates of the ones I have no tickets etc
Then I can get an idea of which ones I can remember and use
