The libertines are a great band

The Victoria warehouse is a horrendous venue

Thankfully the former makes the latter bearable. 

I've seen the libertines once before without Pete, I knew I had to rectify it one day and on a cold night in Old Trafford in December its was recified.

The chemistry between Carl and Pete is fantastic, a real love affair of poetry put to music, you almost don't notice  John and Gary as your transfixed on the front two. Every song is a singalong, arms in the air, a party, a drunken riot, unless your in your 40s and you stand at the back nodding your head (me).

Still bloody great though. Till next time.
