This gig was ace!

If you have never heard the Hot 8 Brass Band, you need to.

They play a hip hop, jazz, funk version of many songs you have heard but with a brass band accompaniment.

I have to say when they played Love Will Tear Us Apart, the whole room singing along was magnificent.

Imagine Ian Curtis stood at the side of the room smiling as 8 guys from New Orleans are blasting out your song on brass instruments while a Manchester audience sings along.

I took a little video of the band coming on stage but this does not do the night any justice what so ever. Trust me when I say=, you need to see this band play.

Also managed to get my hands on the gig times poster and a few of the band kindly signed it for me.
