Gig Description

This was a riotous affair with the Ritz packed to the rafters and loads of punters outside desperately trying to get their hands on tickets.
I am sure they were changing hands for much more than the eight quid advertised on the ticket.
This was the second time the band had played the venue previously supporting The Coral.
Unfortunately we didn't see that one.
The band had just had a number one success with "I bet that you look good on the dance floor".
Most bands would have saved that for the encore but no they decided to open with it.
Needless to say the crowd immediately went berserk and that atmosphere was carried straight through the gig until the end. Glad we caught them at a small venue before they went huge.
