An unexpected evening.
I had been pre season rugby training that afternoon and decided not to venture into the bar afterwards.
I knew Fleetwood Mac were playing that night and had not even thought about getting tickets.
As the day was a glorious sunny day, you know the ones we seldom get in British summer time , I suggested to the girl I was living with at the time we should go.
We drove down and made our way to the stadium. On arrival there was pretty much nobody outside the ground as the support had nearly finished their set.
There was a guy (tout) stood near the turnstiles who probably just wanted to get home by now.
He asked were we looking for tickets? Here we go now comes the haggling!
Yes I replied. "give me a tenner for two" he said. Needless to say i quickly parted with a tenner and got in quickly before he changed his mind.
What a great show! Played all the classics and the weather was great. All that for a fiver each!
