Gig Description

This was the first time we had seen Belle and Sebastian, all be it by accident.
Franz Ferdinand had just started to become popular and we had missed the opportunity to see them in the UK.
I mentioned this to a friend of mine who happened to be the sound engineer working with Belle and Sebastian.
He said they were starting a European tour in March in Paris and Franz Ferdinand were support.
Also the band were arriving on the Friday for the gig on Monday as they would be using the theatre to rehearse . We were duly invited to meet them in Paris and hang out for the weekend! We booked our flights, hotel and made all the arrangements. On our arrival in Paris i rang my fiend to tell him we were here. He said there was a last minute change of plan as the theatre was now being used on the Saturday so they wouldn't arrive until Sunday. Ah well never mind, first time in Paris loads to do.
Sunday I ring my friend. Last minute change of plan Alex Kapranos lead sing with Franz Ferdinand has a throat infection they have pulled out!
We made our way to the beautiful venue got ticked off on the bands guest list watched a good gig by the headliners then made our way to a bar afterwards and sampled a few beverages.
Since then we have seen both Franz Ferdinand and Belle and Sebastian on a number of occasions.
